This is Volevatch’s original limited-edition collection. The
original idea was to rediscover the aesthetics, elegance and
splendor of Louis XVI’s court in Versailles, with a contemporary
style for practicality and daily use. Serge Volevatch’s ideas
began with an existing faucet spout, which he then redesigned,
transformed and adapted by using his son Igor Volevatch’s
sculpting talent. Since then, this series has been expanded
and adapted to our customers’ needs in our Tully workshops
with the expertise of a sculptor and an engraver. It is crafted
by metalsmiths and characterized by their mastery of noble
materials. As such the rock crystals, among the hardest to
work, are embedded within a bronze mount, finely chiseled
by hand, and then covered with 24-carat-gold leaf or silver.
The surface decorations are inspired by nature and represent
acanthus leaves, palmettes, gadrooned leaves, pinecones,
ribbons, cherubs and other antique carvings.
