This iconic model, with its teardrop-shaped cross
handles, was a turning point in Serge Volevatch’s
life. The moment when he designed it, at the request
of one of his customers, marked the end of his
career as an antique dealer and start of a new one
creating exceptional faucets. Bistrot is inspired by
the beginnings of the manufacturing era dating from
the late 19th century and reinterprets the design of
industrial-style faucets in a more contemporary way.
The famous ‘teardrop’ cross handles with enlarged
extremities fit the hand perfectly. When it comes
to the handles, they are adorned with either metal,
Limoges porcelain, marble or wood. Bistrot is suited
to all types of washbasins and any property: from a
Haussmann-style apartment to a country house, via a
Norman manor or rural barn-conversion.
